Cutting Tips

english / spanish

1. Chainsaws can be resharpened “like new” up to 8 times.
2. Sharpening takes only a few minutes.
3. When your chainsaw begins to get dull, stop cutting.
4. It is easier to sharpen the chainsaw before it gets too dull.
5. Do not force a dull saw to keep cutting. It will ruin the chain.

ENEMY NUMBER ONE “DIRT”

1. Dirt is the most frequent cause of your chainsaw getting dull.
2. Dirt is very abrasive (like sandpaper), it will immediately dull your chainsaw.
3. Do not let the chain touch dirt.
4.To avoid hitting dirt, make cuts only ¾ of the way through the log, then roll the log over to finish making each cut.

WARNING: Follow proper sharpening procedures. Improper maintenance and sharpening of saw chain will greatly increase danger of kickback.
